2025 — complicated and sad, yet bright and shiny in many places. Life’s rich pageant. Dropped into Costa Rica / Austin / Vegas / Dallas / LA / San Francisco / Kansas City / Boston / Toronto / Hong Kong / Singapore / London / Paris (x2).
In the meantime, I spent 2 days in Paris. My @airfrance flight from NY-Paris happened to align with the debut of two dishes from chef @danielboulud (he will have four on the menu this spring), and Chef himself was at the door of the plane greeting
Got back from Asia. Went to Kansas City for a (super fun!) wedding (+ KC is cool 😎). Had a birthday. Ran off to London and Paris to shake off the darkness and dust from the last year. Hoping the next spin around the sun is… sunnier. ☀️ | Lon
Up next: Singapore, where the pace slowed, our palates expanded, and the views got bigger. We grabbed Indonesian food (omg) @thewarungsg, enjoyed wood-fired everything from chef @jordankeao paired with wines from around the world (Japan! who knew?)
